Welcome!

I am a postdoctoral researcher with specialization in computational dynamics.

Trained as an engineer at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), my PhD thesis focussed on structure-preserving numerical methods for nonlinear beams and flexible multibody systems.

I am currently affiliated with both Chemnitz University of Technology and Ilmenau University of Technology in the numerical mathematics groups of Manuel Schaller and Friedrich Philipp.

My research centers around the development of numerical methods for the energy-based simulation and control of elastodynamics, robotics, continuum mechanics, multiphysics and beyond. I have a particular emphasis on finite element methods and geometric time integration schemes.
